Manifesto

Since 2013 — Offensive security

This is a translation of the Spanish original. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

Technical knowledge takes center stage.

PERÚHACK was born in 2013 with one conviction: technical knowledge should be shared freely and should help build an independent, critical community committed to offensive security research.

We believe the value of a piece of research does not depend on the fame of the person presenting it, on their professional affiliation or on the interests of any organization. It lies in its originality, depth, rigor and contribution to collective knowledge.

We stand by six core principles.

ITechnical rigor

Research, experimentation and evidence are the foundation of our talks. We prioritize applied knowledge, original contributions and a deep understanding of technological systems.

IIIndependence

We protect the autonomy of our content and our decisions from commercial, institutional or private interests. No sponsorship, professional relationship or public recognition grants any privilege over the technical content.

IIIFreedom of research

We promote critical thinking, technological exploration and offensive research as legitimate means to discover vulnerabilities, challenge assumptions and contribute to more secure systems.

IVResponsibility

The freedom to research comes with responsibility when disclosing results. We promote respect for third parties, the protection of sensitive information and the rigorous presentation of findings.

VCommunity

Knowledge becomes more valuable when it is shared, questioned and lets others keep learning and researching. We encourage the participation of independent researchers, professionals and new generations of technical talent.

VIContribution

We see participation as an opportunity to give, not to gain the spotlight or commercial advantage. We recognize the work of those who generously share their experience and knowledge.

Our conviction

We don't seek the spotlight. We seek knowledge.

We don't promote products. We promote research.

We don't build a commercial showcase. We build community.

Since 2013, technical knowledge has been, and will remain, center stage.

PERÚHACK

Offensive research. Independence. Community.
